The Oeko-Tex® Standard 100plus

If a company is certified in accordance with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 1000 and its products are already certified in accordance with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100plus can, under certain conditions, be awarded for these products.

A prerequisite for the award of the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100plus is evidence that the entire production chain, in other words, all companies involved in the manufacturing of a specific product, comply with the requirements of the Oeko-Tex® Standard 1000 without exception. As an overall concept, the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100plus encourages reliable cooperations to be established and maintained within the textile manufacturing chain.

Companies which have their products certified under the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100plus can demonstrate to consumers that their products are totally safe in terms of human ecology, and have been manufactured exclusively in environmentally aware companies. Use of the “Oeko-Tex® Standard 100plus” label on the product also serves to advertise this environmental achievement.
